Here is my first Thought for the Day. Make of it what you will:
IF the left is winning, it's only because of two things:
1. American Education was taken over long ago, subverted and perverted by leftist insurgent intellectuals from Europe
2. In 1965 DemonRats in power arranged te DELIBERATE IMPORTATION of hordes of unenlightened, less-advanced, non-white foreigners many of them hostile by nature to American values and traditions to change our culture and upset the balance of power demographically –– much as OUR ancestors had disrupted and virtually destroyed the INDIAN tribes who greeted US when WE first arrived in the early 1600's.
The State took over public education largely due to lobbying efforts by Catholics, Baptists, and Presbyterians for them to do so, beginning in the early 1920s.
When you surrender your social responsibilities to the State, you rarely get them back. The people responsible for putting men on the moon didn't have a US Department of Education telling their schools what to teach. Now we have life failure factories.

I guess the only way to combat such capriciousness would be to COPY and PASTE what might have future value into a PRIVATE file.
Certainly has a chlling effect –– especially no trollish, deliberately offensive cimments were posted.
O well! Such, I guess, is life.
Just go to the Blog Archive for 2011 (9-11) and Open the folder if you wish to view/retrieve anything. It's not "gone".
And yes, blogs and their owners can be arbitrary and capricious.
