  1. And my answer as always: Whatever. Yawn.

People would need something to eat, something to drink, shelter... and most of all, some cheap and freely accessible entertainments.

So, you can continue screaming and kicking as much as you want -- you will not find among em too many simpatants of stopping or staggering Progress(which staggering by itself, and that is THE REASON of our current problems, not that it TOO FAST)... especially among OTHERS, like Chinese... or Africans... or Russians.

And... even if you'd find simpatants of suicidal "little death"... they, will eliminate themself. And will leave behind only that, that will be bent on continuing.

    Yawn.

That's how Evolution works. And you DO NOT want to study Technology... tha ONLY can give you such power -- to ride, or even to subvert Evolution.

    1) Hierarchy
    2) Shame
    3) Scarcity

All lacking? in Evolutionary processes, but very present in Human Power/Control structures. Or are humans merely mimicking cell biologies with a different Step 2...?

That's because you know too few about Evolution. And do not want to study.

    1. No? That IS evolution. Step 1, collect assembly materials. Step 2, assemble the right combination. Step 3, enjoy the resulting functionality.

The only difference is that it assembles EVERY combination and uses natural selection (and many, many generations if useful) to determine which ones were useful and contributed to the organism's survival.

If you "know" the requirements for a technology and can "specify" at least one component, others can go from there, especially if that component is the "interface"... aka (a microtubule piercing the cell membrane that serves a specific function - fuel, cooling, bio-electric information...).

    November 26, 2025 at 12:43 AM
Your arguments to authorities too. Like nitsche or kant too.

I have THREE distinct stone cold reasons to NOT "believe in words":

FIRST. As foreigner, even though I use your lang (and latters), they are meaningless to me.

SECOND. As programmer, I used to call things arbitrarily. That is called "identifers". And choice of it absolutely up to aesthetics and common sense of a programmer.

THIRD. As engineer. I know that words are meaningless.

    1. Words mean nothing. It's the relations between words that mean everything. "The cat is on the mat" The "structure". And then one must analyse the power hierarchies within that structure to understand the "environment" in which the structure is organized. (Discourse analysis). Lacanian formula.

Structuralism: Structuralism is a theoretical approach that interprets human culture, thought, and behavior by examining the underlying structures and patterns that give them meaning. It views phenomena as parts of larger systems, much like how words get their meaning from their relationship to other words in a language. Key applications of structuralism include analyzing language, social structures in anthropology, and narrative patterns in literature.

Post-Structuralism: Post-structuralism is a philosophical and literary movement that emerged in the late 20th century, critiquing structuralism by arguing that meaning is not fixed or stable but is fluid, complex, and shaped by power structures and the reader's context. Key figures like Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault are associated with this movement, which emphasizes the instability of language, the deconstruction of binary oppositions, and the idea that subjectivity is constructed through discourse. It also questions universal truths and highlights how power operates to shape knowledge and social reality.

    3. Man is no longer Man. He is post-human. His technologies are the "materials" he manipulates (Step 2). Man is Cyborg, his information is stored outside of his body (in books/ computers). Man needs technologies to continue to evolve. He can evolve "chaotically" (ala Planaria) or "orderly" (ala Newt). The problem is in the algorithm he selects to use, and that "algorithm" is adaptable thru the collective culture.

Yes media... the "tech" leads, and a culture develops from it. Sometimes its' a good thing that develops. Sometimes its' not. Knowing all in advance? impossible. It takes a new tech to cure (thru time and natural selection) a bad one. What's good for China may not be "good" for the US (and visa versa). Why put all the tech eggs in one basket (Open Society)? Let every country develop their own (US and Tik Tok). The US IC doesn't need any foreign exploits being introduced. And we (US IC) no longer should seek to control every foreign government (capability building- USAID) in an "Open Society" exploit environment.

"Swearing in" can mean several things in Swahili, including to "take an oath" (apa kiapo or kula yamini) or to "administer an oath" (apisha), as well as to curse or use profanity (tukana or apiza). The specific term depends on the context.
      To take an oath
Apa kiapo / Kula kiapo: To take an oath.
Apa yamini / Kula yamini: To swear an oath, often for a specific purpose like on a religious text.
Apa kabisa: To swear to something with conviction or to vow to do something.
      To administer an oath
Apisha: To make someone swear an oath or to swear someone into office.
      To curse or use profanity
Tukana / Apiza: To curse or swear at someone.
      Laana: The word for "curse".
Tusi: A swear word or insult.
      Uchafu: Profanity.
Mshenzi: A common insult meaning "fool" or "idiot".

"Context" will only get you so far...

Google AI: Context is of paramount importance to understanding Finnegans Wake because it is constantly being fractured, reshaped, and reinvented through a multilingual, dreamlike style that relies on wordplay, puns, and associations. Instead of a fixed historical or authorial context, the book's meaning is generated through its own linguistic and narrative systems, requiring readers to construct context by tracing patterns, allusions, and linguistic roots from a vast network of languages and historical references. The importance is not in a single, unifying context, but in the process of grappling with countless shifting contexts created by the text itself, making the reader an active participant in its meaning-making.

The expression "writing between the lines" indicates the subject of this article. For the influence of persecution on literature is precisely that it compels all writers who hold heterodox views to develop a peculiar technique of writing, the technique which we have in mind when speaking of writing between the lines. This expression is clearly metaphoric. Any attempt to express its meaning in unmetaphoric language would lead to the discovery of a terra incognita, a field whose very dimensions are as yet unexplored and which offers ample scope for highly intriguing and even important investigations.

“We can express our feelings regarding the world around us either by poetic or by descriptive means... I prefer to express myself metaphorically. Let me stress: metaphorically, not symbolically. A symbol contains within itself a definite meaning, certain intellectual formula, while metaphor is an image. An image possessing the same distinguishing features as the world it represents. An image — as opposed to a symbol — is indefinite in meaning. One cannot speak of the infinite world by applying tools that are definite and finite. We can analyse the formula that constitutes a symbol, while metaphor is a being-within-itself, it’s a monomial. It falls apart at any attempt of touching it."

Yep... great line of flight, from liberty to hate.

Which mean freedom in German. Nevertheless.

    Usual thing with translation.

      Jus/ Ius

In Latin, "ius" primarily means right, law, or justice. It can also function as a grammatical suffix, such as the ending -ius, used to form adjectives or Latinize surnames. The specific meaning of ius depends heavily on its context within a sentence.

      Meanings of ius

Law: Refers to the body of rules that govern society.

Right: Indicates a legal or moral entitlement a person has.

Justice: Denotes the concept of fairness and the place where one goes to seek justice.

Legal Bond: Can refer to a legally binding agreement or a form of legal claim.

      The suffix -ius

Adjective formation: Used to form adjectives that indicate "belonging to" or "made of" a noun, such as rēgius (kingly, from rēx "king").

Latinization of surnames: Added to surnames, especially in New Latin, to create a Latinized version, for example, "Descartes" becomes "Cartesius".

      Examples in context

Ius gentium: "Law of nations" or international law.

Ius civile: "Civil law," the law that applied only to Roman citizens.

Summum ius: "The highest law" or "the letter of the law
