Why 'Woke' is Part of the Problem....

...and NOT the Solution!

The Woke Myth: Western Colonialism Broke Africa and They're Still Trying to Recover from It.

Woke "White Colonizers Bad" (Post-Colonialism) ... Both Excuses and Fuels Continued Contemporary POC Intra-Tribal Racism!

from Google AI:
Postcolonial theory is an academic framework analyzing the cultural, economic, and political legacy of colonial rule, focusing on how Western powers shaped knowledge and identity in colonized regions. It examines power dynamics, representation, and the enduring impact of imperialism, aiming to decenter Eurocentric narratives.

Key Concepts in Postcolonial Theory
  • Orientalism: Coined by Edward Said, this describes how the West (Occident) created a stereotyped, "othered" view of the East (Orient) to justify colonial rule.
  • Hybridity: Homi Bhabha’s concept of the mixture of colonizer and colonized cultures, creating new, complex cultural forms rather than simple imitation.
  • Subaltern: Gayatri Spivak’s term for marginalized groups—the lowest classes—who are denied a voice or representation in history.
  • Agency: The capacity of colonized subjects to act independently and resist colonial power structures.
  • Eurocentrism: The tendency to view the world primarily through a European lens, treating European culture as superior or universal.
  • Othering: Defining the colonized population as fundamentally different from, and inferior to, the European "self".
Main Themes
  • Identity and Representation: Analyzing how colonial discourse created negative or exoticized stereotypes, forcing colonized peoples to adopt "hybrid" identities.
  • Power and Knowledge: Challenging the idea that knowledge is neutral, arguing that Western academic, literary, and artistic traditions were used to justify imperialism.
  • Resistance: Studying the struggles for independence and the ways indigenous knowledge survived and fought back.
  • Neocolonialism: Examining how economic and political dependency persists after formal independence, often through organizations like the IMF or global trade.
Effects on Politics and Identity
Postcolonial theory argues that political independence did not erase structural injustices. It affects national identity by forcing postcolonial nations to navigate between indigenous traditions and the lingering influence of colonial education, language, and legal systems. It also highlights how "postcolonial melancholia" can affect the former colonizer, leading to a nostalgic, often racist, representation of their imperial past.
Main Criticisms of Postcolonial Theory
  • High Academic Jargon: Critics (and some practitioners) argue that thinkers like Spivak and Bhabha use dense postmodern language that makes the theory inaccessible to the public.
  • Lack of Political Engagement: Some argue that, despite its focus on the "subaltern," the academic field is dominated by intellectuals who publish in English, failing to reach the local populations they study.
  • Over-focus on Discourse: Conservative critics argue that it unfairly attacks Western civilization and focuses too much on cultural representation rather than material conditions.
Key Theorists
  • Edward Said: Author of Orientalism.
  • Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak: Famous for "Can the Subaltern Speak?".
  • Homi K. Bhabha: Known for concepts of hybridity and mimicry.
  • Frantz Fanon: Wrote about the psychological impact of racism and colonialism.
Key Texts
  • Orientalism by Edward Said (1978)
  • The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon (1961)
  • In Other Worlds: Essays in Cultural Politics by Gayatri Spivak (1987)
  • The Location of Culture by Homi Bhabha (1994)

  1. WOKE has nothing to do with religious hate or genocide. In fact WOKE abhors genocide, hate, racism, misogyny, bigotry, etc.

And, western European colonialism and the forced conversion to Christianity is as much, if not more so the problem than any of the bullshit spewed by rightwing racists, bigots, misogynists, and Empire Christianity and Extremist Zionism.

    8. The problem with post-colonialism lies in blaming "Europeans" and "Euro-centrism" for the problem (as if it were a European-specific problem), when it's a more "universal" problem... of bias towards "likeness' and against "otherness". The solution isn't to "blame Europeans", but to CHANGE THE UNIVERSAL. Blaming Europe simply retains and amplifies the problem, which is one of HUMAN NATURE. Changing the universal means changing it from race essentialism to race non-essentialism... to de-emphasize differences, not emphasize European differences (and thereby pretend that non-Europeans are exempted from their in-group bias')

    9. The African problem is even LESS Universal than Race-Non-Essentialism. It's one of TRIBAL- Essentialism.

Race is above kingdom in a multi-national world (as kingdoms/ nations can be multi-racial). Tribe (Phyla) is below it.

    3. from Google AI:

Jacques Lacan’s reaction to the May 1968 protests in France was characterized by a mix of intellectual disdain and clinical analysis, often describing the uprising as a "moment of turmoil" rather than a true revolution. His most famous, biting remark addressed to the students was:

"As revolutionaries, you are hysterics who demand a new master. You will get one."

(En tant que révolutionnaires, vous êtes des hystériques qui demandent un nouveau maître. Vous en aurez un.)*

    Maybe a little.

    Absolutely nothing.

I proposed an idea of absolutely germetic universe.
    God-wise. And mistery-wise.

Universe that works like chain of falling dominos...
haven't you seen "back in time" funny videos -- like person which got dirty from bascket with paint falling... becomes clean. "Magically"

  5. Wanna know something truly fascinating? And fresh new (or, eternally old; depend on POV) to boot? ;-)
Well, I cannot give garanty of authenticity, by obvious reasons. But to my mind it just came. ;-P

You know, if flow of time is really just an illusion. And known to us arrow from Past and into the Future is all wrong...

it gives us interesting perspectives that reconcile problems of Science. Like problem of Infinity.
Like, you know, all started from infinitely tight Singularity -- go figure what that "infinitely tight" could mean???%%%)))
and it all spreads infintely in time and space... so even scientists abandoned such views, as boringly virgin of meanings,
and trying to explore "heartbeat of the Universe".

But, if time moves in opposite direction actually. It means we can throw into the window all inifinities. ;-)
And state that all starts from some Initial... very sparse and very vast, yeah, but still finite... State.
And then, only thrinking, into what looks like... yeah "infinitely tight singularity".

Really, we do not need neither time nor space for that... as separate and actual entities. Of unknown origin and properties.
Just some elementary elements, that able to "recombinate" with each other -- that enough for simulating of all movment we see and know 'bout.
Like in Conway's Game of Life. Or falling dominos.

It even able to reconcile Science with Religion. And Western religions with Eastern to boot. ;-)

As in... Nirvana described as ultimate goal -- state of nothingness and non-change -- but that is exactly what Singularity is in this view.
And christianity long as tackling with god being all knowing and all mighty... but, reluctant to interfere into earthly spheres.
But... he is, in such scheme, as he is one who created that Initial State, in which all knowladge, all information incorporated.
And he is all-loving, as he created us with such an opposite time perception -- to not see only thrink and decay before us. And have free will.
And the thrill of revealing vast Future before us. While reason we do not, cannot, remember Future is because information about it perma-destroyed.
And exist now only in HIS mind.

And... it compatible with my ideas -- as scattering and dispersing Humanity among stars -- that is perfectly in accordance with HIS will. ;-)

"If One is not, then Nothing Is." That and "Generation from Opposites". It goes well with concepts like Space-Time.
