“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”
It's amazing that the photos were such high quality, considering the equipment and techniques...especially when the subject was in motion. The hot air baloon photo amazes me.

Duck was out streetshooting with his 8x10 tintype camera that day.

ReplyDeleteWhat a shame "they" found the way to plague us with the rotten commercial Blogger blessedly used to omit for us!
That's just come in in the pas few days.
Whenever "we" find something really GOOD "they" always seem to find a way to spoil or at best diminish it for "us."
I hadn't noticed. What did they do?
ReplyDeleteWhat did "they" do?
ReplyDeleteThey stuck a lousy stinking COMMERCIAL in front of the video. ha's what "the" did, damn "their" souls!
Blogger USED to filter out the commercials when we posted videos, but Alas! no more.
It REEKS!
