So now they're taking over the West's pop scene as well??? Is nothing sacred to Trumputin? ;-)

I wish them well. China has purchased Hollyweird.

Saave the Snowflakes!

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

lol! THAT is hilarious!

Gert said...

I bet there are some snowflakes who don't recognise that site as satire and want to sign up! "President XYZ Derangement Syndrome" has reached new heights, with The Orange One.

Bonus track:

Jonathan Pie on why Democrats lost (very funny)

Full disclosure: Pie is the stage persona of Tom Walker. But through a puppet a ventriloquist tells his truth, of course...

I'd seen it before, but it was a fun reminder of the need to move from "labeling and deriding" to actually constructing convincing arguments.

One of the funniest comments by a flake planning to demonstrate (found on a site that advertises "no trolls, no Trump fans, please"):

"I was planning on attending the protest in St Paul [London, I presume] tomorrow but it’s going to be raining during it. It’ll be just a few degrees above freezing so it’s going to be cold rain. I just got over being really sick and I can’t afford to get sick and miss more work. So I’m gonna have to skip it. I’m disappointed."

The sheer grit and determination! Then came the puzzling non sequitur:

"Sadly there will likely be more opportunities to protest in warmer weather months though."

Do these people realise the Interwebs is a public place?

Thersites said...

What a brave soul! What noble sentiments! If it weren't a public place, he wouldn't need to perform all this "virtue" signalling....

*shakes head*

Thersites said...

btw - My daughter's at the "women's march" in NYC today.... stickin' it to "daddy", I suppose.

Thersites said...

I suppose that once you've "culturalized" politics, virtue signalling is the only left to a politician. You can't "fix" the problem of inner city violence because, "that's their culture". They can't possibly be held to a "civilized" standard... all you can do is to signal your "support" for their "right" to be free from "authoritarian" police protection. ;)

Why are today so many problems perceived as problems of intolerance, not as problems of inequality, exploitation, injustice? Why is the proposed remedy tolerance, not emancipation, political struggle, even armed struggle? The immediate answer is the liberal multiculturalist's basic ideological operation: the "culturalization of politics" - political differences, differences conditioned by political inequality, economic exploitation, etc., are naturalized/neutralized into "cultural" differences, different "ways of life," which are something given, something that cannot be overcome, but merely "tolerated." To this, of course, one should answer in Benjaminian terms: from culturalization of politics to politicization of culture. The cause of this culturalization is the retreat, failure, of direct political solutions (Welfare State, socialist projects, etc.). Tolerance is their post-political ersatz:

The retreat from more substantive visions of justice heralded by the promulgation of tolerance today is part of a more general depoliticization of citizenship and power and retreat from political life itself. The cultivation of tolerance as a political end implicitly constitutes a rejection of politics as a domain in which conflict can be productively articulated and addressed, a domain in which citizens can be transformed by their participation.
- Zizek, "Tolerance ss an Ideological Category"

You're giving me a lot there. Worth responding to 'on the morrow'.

Nite, nite, friend!

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

That there are no JOBS in the inner cities... why tackle THAT? The soft-racism of "leave black culture to 'lazy' blacks" (attribution to culture) will let a pol pretend to moral superiority... whilst leaving the real problem entirely undisturbed.

Gert said...

stikin' it to daddy: good, a bit of 'dialectic' in the family! ;-) I can only hope (in vain?) she's aware of Obomba's crimes around the world and how 'Mr Cool' was hardly a 'hopey/changey' kind of Prez.

virtue signalling: I lifted the quote from wehuntedthemammoth. Despite sharing concerns about mysoginy, there I've been called racist, sexist. antisemitic, ablist and classist (wut??) for mildly disagreeing with the choir. It's the Ultimate Safe Space where Clinton whores rule. Now I've been banned too. Saves much time, that! ;-)

Zizek: like him (and maybe you?) I'm convinced most of our problems (including racism) are economic at heart. Lack of opportunity for personal/family development creates enormous resentment and rightly so. One would think the 'Left' would get that but it appears large swathes of it do NOT. Well, fools are born every minute and are found in all walks of life.

Gert said...

One of the weirdest things to see is how 'that left' is now best buddies with the... CIA! They just can't get enough of that Trumputin baloney. CIA good/FBI bad - kind of thing...

Galloway on the Zinoviev Letter and the Steele 'dossier'

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

I agree that economics lies at the heart of the world's problems. The "problem of capitalism" drives everything political... including the belief that "culture" should be off-limits, as in the case of America's inner cities. The "customer" is "always right", after all.

One good thing, this campaign has opened my eyes to the dangers posed by "the Deep State". Having been a government contractor for the past twenty-something years has done little to instill my confidence in it.

I'd never heard of the Zinoviev Letter before this video. I'm inspired to do a little more research... so, thanks!

Gert said...

I'm a little surprised it took this campaign to show you the dangers of the Deep State.

There is nothing new about DS but it does seem to get worse and worse. Galloway's hypothesis that the CIA's current shenanigans may be interpreted as a soft coup against Agent Orange may not be fantastical at all.

With the exception of a few Clintonite contributors, The Intercept remains a good place to read up on the Deep State. The mere fact that Greenwald keeps being called a 'Trump/Putin stooge' is a sign the man is doing something right, IMO...

Gert said...

I hadn't heard of the Zinoviev letter either. Bucket list.

Gert said...

They don't care about you

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

Up until recently I naively assumed that the CIA adhered to restrictions upon influencing domestic politics and media. The current out-going head of CIA has since convinced me "otherwise".

Gert said...

If we look specifically at the intelligence communities aspect of the Deep State, how surprising is it that these people who are only "held to account" by other people who basically aren't held to account at all end up bending the rules at will? 'Kids owning candy stores' springs to mind.

And don't get me started on revolving doors!

Gert said...

Elisabethan England is in modern terms described as a 'police state'. I bet it had a primitive Deep State system too.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

IIt's what I both hate and love about working in a government role. I can always get an 'exception' to the more onerous rules and regulations that apply to everyone else.

'Round and 'round she goes.
Where she'll stop nobody knows.

If by "Deep State", you mean what-I've-been calling "The Oligarchs" –– extraordinarily rich, powerful individuals who control the supply –– and the value –– of currencies through international banking, –– the owners and suppliers of vital raw materials, –– and the Captains of enormous International Industries who owe allegiance to no nation in particular, but have the power to "buy" congress critters, judges, and even some heads of state, I think I understand a little of what you guys have been saying.

I believe this phenomenon arose because of the possibilities provided by the Industrial Revolution, –– the enormous wealth the original tycoons amassed because they saw Opportunity and grabbed it risking all in the process, –– and the Envy and List for Vengeance that ensued on the part of "the little people" egged on and amplified, of course, by the early Labor Movement, which was quickly dominated by the emergence of Marxism –– a Hate-based, Envy-inspired secular religion that glorifies Spite, Malice, Violence, and Subterfuge as legitimate means to slake the Lust for Revenge against those who are in any way manifestly superior to all that is Common, Vulgar and Undistinguished.

When "progressive" government emerged and became involved in "curbing" what-it-wanted-to-define-as "The Excesses of Rich Capitalist Industrialists and Entrepreneurs," the rich Capitalists in order to defend their best interests soon became involved in government, themselves. This alliance –– a blending of Industry with Government –– formed a Power Bloc based on Crony Capitalism, which has, of course, proved detrimental to the interests of average American citizens to say the least.

However, I doubt there has ever been a time or place where some sort of hierarchical Power Structure has not come forth to exercise suzerainty over the masses.

How could any viable human society hope to exist without it?

Industrialization gave birth to a form of neo-Feudalism where the kings, queens, nobles landed gentry and yeoman farmers have been replaced by tycoons and the bankers who finance their ventures and misadventures. The people as a whole have effectively been returned to serfdom.

In short when it comes right down to the nitty gritty, Might Makes Right, whether we like it or not. And "revolutions" only supplant one form of tyrannous abuse with another.

Apparently, we have no choice but the LIVE WITH IT. Ether that or plunge ourselves into endless –– ultimately fruitless –– war with millions of lives destroyed along untold destruction of wealth and property.

As the song asks,"When will they ever learn?

I say, "A cursory glance at history tells us the answer is probably NEVER."

Deep State implies embedded GOVERNMENT institutions that seek to perpetuate the current order, by "other than constitutional" means. It represents the jouissance of the institution that seeks naught but its' own preservation... the organization's "Libido" or "Lamella". It's what "animates" the organization.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

Okay... here's a slightly better illustration of the concept than the lamella link above.

FUCK that British asshole and all the enemedia types who think, act and talk in that vein. FUCK them ALL!

'Tis said that when SATAN'S time is finally drawing to a close he will ROAR and BELLOW more LOUDLY and more FIERCELY than ever before.

As far as I'm concerned, the ENEMEDIA both at home and abroad, (for they are all very much alike), have been acting as virtual Servants of Satan for the better part of a century –– particularly in the last 60-odd years. Needless to say, the PROFESSORIAT and the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY are members of the same league. The Oligarchs are in in it too, sad to say.

I try to withdraw more and more from the tidal waves of garbage from the enemedia that threaten to overwhelm us. I have faith in Donald Trump, but I still plan to watch him with a weather eye. We've been deceived and treated with contempt and disregard by politicians before, haven't we?

In six months we'll know much more if we've made a good choice. But even if Mr. Trump turns out to be a fraud –– or not strong enough to stand the gaff ––, I will STILL rejoice in his beating Hillrottencunt into the ground.
