“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

And by a prudent flight and cunning save A life which valour could not, from the grave. A better buckler I can soon regain, But who can get another life again?

Deeply offensive MARXIAN POISON to those of us who fervently believe we have a every right and every good reason to BE and to CELEBRATE who we ARE.
I cannot understand WHY you persist in posting this ABSURD, deeply DESTRUCTIVE, foul-smelling SUBVERSIVE manure.
This must be RESITED, and OBLITERATED not "studied," given credence and given tacit approval by ECHOING it.
A day or two ago you said "The multitudes don't visit my blog."
How could you know for sure? They cefrtainly don't POST here, but this blog IS publicly avaiable, which makes the dissemination of ENEMY PROPAGANDA –– and that IS precisely what this IS –– extremely dangerous in my opinion.
Don't mean to be a nag, but I can't understand why you want to act as a latter-day Tokyo Rose even [nadvertently.
This video presents the argument that the Left is using to justify its' use of violence. That the use of government by Trump to enforce borders, etc. IS VIOLENCE. I suggest that if you wish to avert the coming violence, you attempt to dissuade its' adherents of the validity of said propositions.
The fallacy in this "particular" argument is the belief that Trump controls the economic conditions experienced in the third world and cause people to emigrate from them. Capitalism controls these conditions, not the Trump Administration of the American government. In fact, the Left resists the Trump administration's every attempt to curtail the worldwide abuses of capitalism and exploitation of workers.
All right. I undersand what you're driving at, but WHY should I ... or anyone else who's lived a good long while, seen much, and knows his own mind ... want to waste precious time arguing with a self-styled, hyper-verbose old Marxist, when I'd much rather use what time I have left reading the Bible, praying, listening to Bach, Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, tending my garden, indulging my passion for home improvement, engaging in private eleemosynary ventures, or reading Jane Austen, Henry James, Edgar Allan Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, or P.D. James?

Just sayin'....

Slavoj Zizek is becoming more famous today than Noam Chomsky. If you can argue against Zizek, you can take on anyone on the Left.

You shouldn't. Consider it a niche interest.
I have kids.
