Omicron Update

5 comments:

  1. We've already had relatively "weaker / milder" Covid variants crop up (Beta, Gamma, Epsilon, maybe Mu...) so Omicron isn't surprising other than the vaccines that target spike proteins has only served to evolve spike proteins that aren't affected by the vaccines. Give Alpha or Mu the Omicron spike protein mutation (through transfer if the two variants encounter each other...) and we're Uber-fuct.

  2. Well I suspect that having had the "live" virus, your Beta and Tee cells are primed for ALL variants. Now we just have to wait for everyone to get some form of the "live" virus... and it'll become just another seasonal flu to most others. Fauci is over-obsessed with antibody levels, and the Beta and Tee cells can stimulate/produce those.

  3. Maybe. I am (or was) in fairly good health before Covid finally got me. I assume it was Delta because apparently Omicron doesn't cause loss of sense of smell / taste. And "they say" the unvaxxed run the risk of getting Covid a second time. The lymphocytes (T-cells) from a Delta infection quite possibly are useless against Omicron for the same reason the mRNA vaccines are useless against it. So, we'll need natural immunity vs. each variant unless we catch them in the right order lol.

  4. Hoping I catch Covid variants in an order that spells something lurid in Greek.
