“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

Co-Opting Native America to Serve a Radical Left Environmental Agenda
This protest had nothing to do with the "sacred". It had nothing to do with "water". It was ALL about "carbon". Why would Native America protest carbon?
Oh wow. Listen to Dee! He sounds great! He's gotta be, what? 60-something now... wow. He's gotta a better voice than he had when he was a kid!
And good for him for sticking up for those tribes. These poor folks are just scared the oil is going to make a mess of the place. You can't blame them. It's not like they have any reason to trust anyone.
My brother, his band mates, and I used to practice at the late AJ Pero's (Twisted Sister's drummer) studio on Staten Island. It was cool. My brother was friends of theirs and we used to have run of the place, all night long sometimes. Great memories. And, of course, Dee Snider remains the hero of all rock musicians after the whole PMRC thing. I'll never forget - Snider, John Denver, and Frank Zappa making those Senators look like buffoons on national TV!
Love ya' Dee! Keep fighting the good fight! 'We're not gonna take it!'

He does sound great, I'll grant you that! Rock on, Dee!
ReplyDeleteWhile we're visiting Strangeland, I have a question...

ReplyDeleteThe question must not be for me, since I've already said that the "protest" wasn't about water...
