How the Left Controls the University

  1. All right. I have little patience with these protracted sessions that effectively state a problem ,and then go on and on and on heaping complaint after complaint that offer no practicable, tenable ways to get RID of the son-of-a-bitch.

It took just over five minutes to hear the complainant tell the interviewer (who acts like a zombie throughout the proceedings) tell the world tat having discovered this secret cabal surreptitiously and undemocratically controlling classroom agendas and te future of gradute students behind the scenes in academia, that he is now eager to JOIN them.

In other words the bright, somewhat cocky lad with that cat-that-swallowed-the-canary grin that peeps out involuntarily now and then from behind HIS facade is NOT eager to SOLVE the problem. Instead he wants to join the PERPETRATORS, probably beause that is where th OWER obviously lies.

Apparently, there is no room for idealism, sweetness, sincerity, time-honored wisdom and the honest pursuit of Truth and Beauty in the halls of academe anymore.

It's become nothing but cynical, manipulative GAME PLAYING with increased POWER and CONTROL as the sole objectives.

This degree of CORRUPTION is not merely undesirable; it is UNTENABLE.

Sorry, Farmer, have I misjudged the situation? Is there anything in the lengthy exchange following these revealing first few minutes that should give me hope that a genuinely CONSTRUCTIVE approach mght be contained in the rest?

  2. No, you haven't missed anything Franco. It's just info that makes you understand why "the higher education system" with all it's government grant funding as currently defined can't be reformed or rescued. The same holds true for the "laboratory" and "research" agencies that are loosely confederated under the NSF and various offshoots like the AGU.

  3. And yes, Gert, I agree that speech in modern America is hardly free. It will never be truly free until the speakers lose their interdependence, so no, socialism/Left wing originating contributions are no solution. They only add to the noise that drowns out the signal.

  5. OFF-TOPIC, PERHAPS, BUT TOO IMPORTANT NOT TO SHARE AS WIDELY APOSSIBLE, BECAUSE THE MAIM STEAM MEDIA WILL NEVER LET YOU SEE THIS, IF THEY CAN MANAGE TO SUPPRESS IT:

Literally Thousands of Doctors and Scientists Have Come Out Against Fauci’s Lockdowns Including a Nobel Prize-Winning Biophysicist. The Media Just Doesn’t Want You to Know

    RedState

    by Michael Thau

As RedState’s very own Sister Toldjah reported earlier today, the doubts President Trump recently expressed about the wisdom of Dr. Fauci’s advice on COVID-19 have elicited a chorus of smug accusation from the usual suspects that he’s “ignoring the experts.” ...

The idea that there’s some scientific consensus in favor of the extreme measures inflicted on us in response to COVID-19 couldn’t be further from the truth. ...

Countless scientists and doctors have tried to warn us not only that COVID-19 isn’t nearly as deadly as we’ve been led to believe; they’re also certain that the real threat to public health we’re facing is from the lockdowns. . . .
