When I was a student, some 35 sun revolutions ago, we were told that fusion was around the corner some 20 years down the road.What gives? :-)
They're no closer today...

I find these things fascinating: to be able to create even only a very little bit of fusion in such a small and simple device!Defo beats a lava lamp...
