The Liminal represents a zero order actual and naturally emergent transformative experience (ie - puberty's physical bodily changes) or 1st order social recognition of it. The Liminoid is 2nd order symbolic recognition through film or digitalization of a symbolic "rite" of a natural or socially transformative experience (social A to social B)? Perhaps Occupy Wall Street signaled our entry into a new post-capitalist "cybernetic 1%er control society" phase of the economy for human society, much as Woodstock signalled our entry into a "cultural Capitalist" economic phase.
