AFAIK, turn from suffering is very simple in buddhism -- just stop desiring. AKA Understanding of Law of Unpredictable Consequences. Or... "shit happens", for short.
Negation of the negation. stop desiring = stop suffering. Desiring is what forms the "will". The Xtian approach is to embrace the will, and accompanying suffering (which then give meaning to suffering in actions). The Buddhist call the 'will" Ego, and look to minimize Ego.
