End of the Super Hero?

I hope it's the end of the dark gothy sort of hero movies for a while. I got sick of that quick. I actually prefer these silly Avenger type movies. They should be fun, not brooding.

Too complicated, eh? ;)

It's either Guardians or Wonder Woman this weekend. :)

Those both sound fun!

"Complicated" isn't the word I would use. "Brooding" is the word I meant and used. There's nothing complicated going on in any of these movies. That's why I just detested that whole Batman-as-metaphor thing we saw spring up after 9/11 and then again after Obama was elected. Complexity was not in the minds of that crowd.

Ah, the "Dark" Knight. Nobody likes a Superhero who take himself too seriously!

Where oh where is CLARK KENT when you need him?

Where is BATMAN: for that matter?

Is he too busy fucking ROBIN to fight for the Greater Good anymore?

Is NOTHING sacred?

The West has laspsed int a state of advanced SENILE DEMENTIA.

WE, dear children, are on our way OUT.

OZYMANDIAS, here we come ––
Right back where we started from!
We are not headed to our Graves,
But only back into the Caves
Where we will find Brutality
Instead of Immortality.
