Social feminism is a feminist movement that advocates for social rights and special accommodations for women. It was first used to describe members of the women's suffrage movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries who were concerned with social problems that affected women and children. They saw obtaining the vote mainly as a means to achieve their reform goals rather than a primary goal in itself. After women gained the right to vote, social feminism continued in the form of labor feminists who advocated for protectionist legislation and special benefits for women. The term is widely used, although some historians have questioned its validity.

I prefer the divine feminine in ALL her wisdom and compassion.
Still looking forward to the first female president. Be they black, brown, white, or purple.
And WHEN it happens the nation and the world will be the better for it.
In other words, you're voting for Pete Buttigieg.
...cuz you're not only a race essentialist, you're now a sex essentialist as well.
btw - Have you figured out what a woman is yet?
...is a vagina "essential" to the feminine?
The point of this post was to point out that the original "feminists" were social feminists. They didn't want "equality" with men, they wanted "accommodations" for their distinct sexual characteristics. The push for "equality" was made by professional women, not unionized or working/ labouring women. They didn't want to be "President".
They just didn't want to have to do the hazardous, dangerous, and sh*t-dirty jobs that men were required to do.
But yeah, when it came to non-labouring professional jobs, they DID want to compete. And in that regard, they were capable and did very well. They didn't physically have to perform to GI Jane standards.
It's what makes the song so poignant and ironic... "Do they want me for my body?" The answer, in the case of professional women (and not labouring women) was "No." Employers wanted men's bodies for physical labour.
Having fun attepting to define me jc? YOU lack the mental power or intellect to define ANYBODY. But I'm quite certain your delusions lead you to think otherwise.
But hey, whatever you think is fine by me. I simply smile... because I know the truth.
Why would I attempt to define you? I'm simply trying to explain MY post. Maybe you should explain yours. Because there is no "divine feminine". There is only the absolutely Divine. And absolutes can't be partitioned into dialectical dualisms (ie masculine/feminine). And reifying one particular aspect of a dualism is what you're constantly rant AGAINST doing.
Yet here you are...
Bullshit. I reread your comment. It didn't change my view.
You're right. There is nothing to learn here. Except BS.
Yes. It is the Best Stuff!
No... bullshit.
No, none at all.
Yup, bullshit through and through.
BS is a person that can't make his argument.
True, just as you fail to do.
No, I make them all the time. I just can't make you follow them. Horse to water...
Is that so...
Yep. you're a very lazy horse.
