Working ethics coordinate those roles. Morals coordinate the individuals adoption (or not) of those ethics.
What does the division of labour result in? Adam Smith, "wealth of Nations" - Productivity increased efficiencies. Artifacts so produced are cheaper... and the surplus accrues to the organizer of those activities. Like the AI Agent: LLM -> work flow -> Agent.
The Agent is the Capitalist (or tribal chief). He accrues the surplus values created.
There's wisdom in the Division of Labour (increased efficiency). But there's little justice in the way profits from increased efficiencies are distributed (all accrue to the Capitalist)
Unlike "survival of the fittest", it hints at multiple directions. What is the "fittest"? Strength? Weakness? It depends upon the circumstances, and they are many.
