The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

Monty Python sans humor?
The term you're looking for is "minimalism".
I guess that makes me a MAXIMALIST, Thersites.
At any rate, I thought the video SUCKED. I don't care for the way we surrender to irrationality and nihilistic tendencies.
Surrender? Did the protagonist in the video surrender?
Sadly, Samuel Beckett probably fooled himself into thinking this was meaningful too.
You can colour him cynical, or absurd, but Beckett ain't gonna sit around waiting for GOD-oh! to answer his prayers.
I'm hip. Prayers are 5% self-pity and 95% wasted breath.
Not that I'm an atheist. God just has shitty customer service.
No HE doesn't, but shitty "supplicants"get what they deserve, because they leave Him out of their daily lives.
