Celebrating a Month of Trump...

Achieving the military objectives has first priority
The health of the soldiers ist subordinated to this primary interest.

Comrades (in arms), watch out:
I´ve brought something for you.
This Powder lets you fly
and defeat the enemy soon.

A masterclass product,
a real wonder weapon.
This powder is awesome,
Even there is tremendous fear
take a dose with pleasure
and then into the enemys visor
rise up to the firmament
till the engine burns

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up
with full power

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

With a little dose of speed
you hurry from victory to victory,
no borders can stop you
an nothing remains the same.
you are rulers in the air
regardless of the consequence.

Still the masses cheer
therefore the enemy will hate you.
Without sleep and without tomorrow
´cause a decoration ist already waiting.
Mistake you for daring
so speed towards ground

(Spoken)
Start was often very late, 10, 11 o clock.
Being over London or any other english city at about 1, 2 o clock in the morning.
Sure being tired then.
An then, recognizing that, which hadn´t to be the case, you swallowed one, two pills pervitin and it was allright again.

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up
with full power

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

Pull up
Pull up
Pull up

German industrial metal about taking uppers in WWII, and Trumps first month. What are you connecting here? I mean, I could think of a few metaphors here, but I have no idea what you're saying...

If the Press was to be believed, Trump should have been burning the Reichstag by now and blaming the Islamic Brotherhood... no?

...but then again, the media have "forgotten" WHO, in a democracy, gets to deliver the MASTER Narrative. Here's clue... it AIN'T them! :)

News, like facts, have no inherent "snark" (or boojum)!

Military glory is the ultimate Poor Man's Gamble. Succeed and rich rewards await you. Fail and die.

Worth a bit of speed, I guess! ;-)

_____ Our Hope for the Nation _____

A bilious temperament may shower
Many a lush and fragrant bower
With noxious regurgitation
Withering blooms and vegetation.
But roots of every healthy plant
Remain immune to toxic cant.
And soon the stench will clear away
As Beauty returns renewed by Decay.

Not to worry, Jersey, I doubt very much if they do either. Esoteric cant, code, circumlocution, and condescension make up the essence of what is going on with this thread.

Talking in obfuscatory, exclusionary jargon laced with code words makes some people feel superior to others. It's a form of snobbery. Also a sign of weak ego strength trying to compensate for itself.

As Einstein said, "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."

_________ A Malignant Boor __________

Fields stretch far to meet horizons broad
Underneath a glaring, vacant sky.
Cowering in the grass a fear-filled fraud,
Kicking at the pearls cast from on high,

Yells invective from his open grave ~
Obstreperous bravado. As wolves bay
Unnervingly in hopes the moon might save
Boisterous braggarts from the need to pay

Escaping thus Sin’’s consequences dire,
And reaping rich rewards they have not earned,
Malignancy of mind destroys like fire ~
Its path strewn thickly with the scorned, and spurned.

Some may be fooled all of the time, but most
Hear the cowardice behind the boast.

_________ A Soul in Torment _________

Foul-minded, ill-intentioned –– your
Ugly disposition longs to battle.
Caring only to distress not cure,
Kicking at the sky you shake your rattle
In defiance of Propriety.
Noxious noise is all that you produce ––
Grotesque behavior seeking notoriety ––
Bad smelling like a long-uncleansed prepuce.
A soul in torment must be what you are ––
Suffering with the fear you are inferior.
Too bad! A fine intelligence you mar
Assaulting with produce from your posterior.
Redemption might be earned should you relent,
Desist your endless insults, and repent.

_______ Battling in the Darkness _______

Irrationality combined with spite
Laced with paranoid self-righteous zeal
Makes a combination hard to fight,
Since adversaries treat with nothing real.

Projection of self-doubt with willfulness
Combines to seal out decent, common sense.
So, even virtue shown with skillfulness
Can’t penetrate Obduracy’s defense.

Alas! The joy of honest thoughts exchanged
Is lost midst warring egoists stalemated ––
Entrenched by suppositions oft deranged ––
Employed to see all mutually berated.

Thus trapped in darkness blindly on they fight
Afraid to see their faults exposed to light.

__________ A WAKING DREAM __________

Live through these sessions, even as you dread
The hectoring and badgering you’re sure
To meet –– the harassment you must endure
With cheerful face from heart by poison fed.

Despite the sniping, sneering insults said ––
The mental halitosis vile, impure ––
The air not far away is not so poor.
To find relief one has not far to tread.

And so one sees there are ways to escape
Before the churl can consummate the rape.
The mood, though, darkens, moves beyond indignant
Confronted by this spirit so malignant,
Whose neck deserves to be cracked at the nape,
Its bulging eyes plucked out –– squashed –– like a grape.

How about that?

LOL! Ya know, FT, when I was still learning to write lyrics, I studied various types and approaches. Of the types, there's 'the personal' - a love letter, a direct derogatory, a memory, and so forth. Then, there's 'shit' - sex, a new dance, a self-glamorization, etc, (usually sex). Then, there's 'the message' - philosophical musings, third-person caricatures, religious devotions, moral plays, and such. I was always more comfortable with 'the message,' because I hate shit and I'm not interesting to myself (talk about "been there, done that" - and I always hated that expression, too. I heard Sinatra always hated "My Way," for instance. I sympathize, though it's a cute song).

The methods, though, are where we find the real diversity. I liked to have some fun with that. So, one time, I wrote a song called "Trippin'." Very simple...

"If you feel like you might not make it but you make it so,
you will see it, if you try it.
And if you hold it up and no one sees but you know it's there,
it is real, I ain't lyin'.
You see it better when you close your eyes and you look inside,
you will feel it, if you try it.
And if you feel like you're all alone but you remember who you are,
you will be it, I wouldn't lie, and I'll tell you why... (really cool SNL style guitar solo)"

I intentionally wrote the vaguest f'n thing ever. It could be self-helpy mush, or just a play on the colloquial expression "trippin'," it could be about hard work and self-belief, about coping with a bad acid trip... Funny, you wouldn't believe how many people told me it was an absolutely brilliant song! LOL! Vagueness is all well and fine, but when one expects someone to get a particular message from vagueness, that's just pointlessness. I like the way you write. No vagueness there. The vast majority of my writings were quite clear. This German metal Trump thing? I guess I get what he's trying to say. But I'd bet most people who would all over the place trying to get a grip on it that would match the FJ's intention.

Plato was a master of esoteric writing.

My 'meaning' for this post was derived purely as an 'afterthougt'. To mention Hitler and Trump in the same post is to conflate the greatest evil of all time with the possibility of limitting capitalism to the nation's borders....

btw - Great new blog, Gert. I really enjoyed the first edition! I like yours too, Jersey. I hope you both keep em up.

__________ BANQUET __________

Generously spread with gracious living
The table beckons. Lace and candlelight
Mingle with fine chine. I am diving
Into the tureen, which is a sight

All white and warm while guarding snowy chowder.
Savory is a casserole of brains.
Sparkling wine has made our talk much louder ––
Louder than the voices of our pains.

Drink has numbed our virtues and our faults
While food has warmed our anxious, craving hearts.
Later, we will step into a waltz ––
Whose cycle whirls till every fear departs

Leaving us quite buoyant –– out of breath ––
Gladdened that this night must end in death.
