“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

Nazi Tattoo ! How is it that NOT enough for a a party claiming to represent everything seems to represent nothing? We are expected to support a candidate with a Nazi Tattoo for two decades, a history of racist, violent, homophobic, and antisemitic behavior, and possibly pedophilia, simply because of power? And Democrats have the audacity to get angry at people, especially Jews, who don’t support this? If you care about gaining power, then perhaps vet and produce a better candidate next time. Don’t expect the rest of us to abandon our principles because you endorsed, backed, and invested money in a problematic person…and kept doing so as more and more came to light. Apparently, very few of us hold ourselves to the same standard that we do for people across the aisle. Spare me the “he didn’t know what it was and got it covered up” excuse. You expect me to believe that the person who traveled to the only country in Europe that can legally give out Nazi tattoos, kept that tattoo on for two decades, and didn’t cover it up until he started running and has an antisemitic and racist past, didn’t know what he was doing? Or do you want us to support someone who was dumb enough not to know what kind of tattoo he had on himself for two decades? Like that’s who you want helping to make and vote on laws in this country? Would you accept this if it were coming across the aisle? The answer is no, and I am no hypocrite. I don’t accept this. You can demand better… you should. Especially if you call yourself a Democrat. Especially if you have talked about “Nazis,” “fascism,” and “Nazi salutes” for the last few years. If you can’t, then you are an unserious person. At the very least you should be holding politicians who backed him and helped him gain momentum, accountable
