I wish I could begin to understand the apparent fascination you have with electronically-engineered atrocities some mistakenly regard as "music."

I can't say this stuff doesn't "speak" to me. It does, but what it says is unprintable, unspeakable, and should be unthinkable.

Please don't take my adverse sentiments as an insult to your august self. You must know by now I hold you in high esteem, but why ANYONE would want to listen to these brash, uncouth, artificially produced, profoundly UGLY, neo-primitive sounds when they could be listening to a Mahler Symphony, Beethoven, Opus 110, Schubert's Trout Quintet, The Dream of Gerontius by Edward Elgar, songs by Hugo Wolf, Gregorian Chant, Menotti's The Consul, the Piano Sonata by Samuel Barber, A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim or some of the great wealth of material from the world of 20th-Century Jazz I cannot imagine.

Please forgive me. This seems to be my day for being brutally frank.

I sleep to classical, FT.

But during the daytime, you need to be awake. This song is but one reason. It attempts to present a "new" American dream. Is it one you believe to be "viable"?

Now remember, always do your best to benefit of your corporate masters. ;)

Funny part of this video is that I'll bet that every one of the "achievers" featured was nurtured by a Jack & Diane (the textual link) style hover-parent.
