When a so-called "RELIGION" demands wanton cruelty to innocent animals, it is that "RELGION" that ought to be BANNED –– DRIVEN OUT–– and forcibly RETURNED into the deserts and jungles from which it originated.
90% of halal slaughterhouses practice electric stunning... which is the same as in every western slaughterhouse. A "ban" on the religious ritual is stupid. Just "require" stunning.

I have grown to DESPISE him.

Totally unnecessary, the bans. Creating a problem where previously there wasn't one...
I strongly disapprove of killing animals for any reason OTHER than providing FOOD needed to ward off starvation.
