The Perils of Identity: Sincerity, Authenticity, and Profilicity

...and why so many "Progressive" Liberals are Struggling to Find a Safe Space of Affirmation from their General Peer (critics).
The Censorship Industrial Complex:  Creating and Gatekeeping Online Safe Spaces for Progressive Liberals Since 2014
The answer though, isn't simply to insist everyone thicken their skins.  It's to modify and make "age appropriate" the expectations of everyone as to the nature of both "sincerity" AND "authenticity" in Identity formation... teach that we must all compromise our identity in fulfillment of the many various and distinct social roles and group identities we must share in order to coexist (and thrive).  We are all more than our sexual identities and that not everyone can, or needs, be supportive of it.  The "trans" community need to accept this (hence all the trans/ trantifa killings (suicides by cop) of late.  Remember the old playground adage, "I'm rubber, you're glue.  Everything you say bounces off of me, and sticks to you!" How about, "I know you are, but what am I"?,  I certainly do.
from Google AI:
The Werther effect, or suicide contagion, refers to the phenomenon where a rise in suicides or suicidal behaviors occurs following the media coverage of a suicide, particularly that of a celebrity or a well-known figure. This effect is named after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s 1774 novel, "The Sorrows of Young Werther", which was followed by reports of young men mimicking the protagonist's suicide method, leading to the book being banned in several places.
