Partial Video Excerpt:
Plato the Cratylus, the divine wondering.
Plato takes the word aletheia and digs a bit deeper. In Cratylus the dialogue, Socrates says about aletheia that truth is thea ali. He twists the word around, and this means wondering. It is [music] a divine wondering. Thea is divine and Ali is is wondering. So it [music] is the movement of the soul toward being, toward what truly exists. And right beside it he places its opposite, falsehood pseudos. And he said it [music] is related to stillness, to standing still. So a lie holds you in place. It stops you from moving forward.
So truth [music] isn't an object you possess once and then the matter is closed. Truth [music] is motion. It is something you do, not something you have. While the lie, the comfort of deception, is exactly what keeps you where you already are. It suits you to not look any further. It's comforting. That's why truth [music] takes effort. Not because someone fears it and hides it on purpose, but because the very nature of [music] knowledge works this way. Staying still is always easier and that moving toward what [music] actually exists. It is uncomfortable to do this.
And this exact same theme, true speech versus false speech, shows up again in the dialogue with a god pan. Socrates says pan is the son of Hermes and so is either speech itself or a brother of speech. Of logos, of movement, of speech and he [music] has a double nature. The exactly as speech, Diphyes has [music] a double nature. His upper part, Socrates says, is Leion and Theon, smooth and divine, dwelling above and among the gods. This is the [music] althees, the truth and his lower part, the goat legs down below among the many rough parts, which is the false part. Socrates says around the the life that resembles a tragedy a deception piled on deception. So speech itself in one and the same body holds both. And it's notonly speech we have talked about logos many times on this channel. Logos is speech in movement. It's analogy. It is a lot of things but all of it the same body. So we have the smooth part of pan divine true and the rough part which is the false part. These aren't two separate beings. It is the same thing. Speech that can take you either up or down. The same image again that we saw with the muses. The lie isn't foreign to the truth. It is the same material, the same speech that stayed in the rough, the low, the common instead of rising to the smooth and the divine. And this applies to everything. It applies to arts. It applies to anything that happens in the world because laws is movement. Anything that moves, anything that creates sequence can be either truthful or false.
But if everything, the true and the false, the smooth and the rough is in front of us all the time, what determines what we actually see? And Empedocles has an answer. He says, "With earth, we see earth. With water, we see water. With ether, we see the divine ether. With fire, we see the destructive fire."
What's the idea here? It is simple. You perceive the like through the like. Whatever already exists inside you iswhat you recognize outside of you. If the rough and the low dominates within you, you will readily recognize the rough and the low around you and it will look true to you because it resonates with what you already are. If you have cultivated the [music] smooth, the higher part of yourself, that's what you will recognize more easily. Truth, in other words, isn't hidden somewhere far away and out of reach. It is right in front of us, exactly like the lie is. The question isn't where it is located. It is what you are looking at with. If truth is the unconcealed, that implies something important that something by definition is concealed. But we don't need any conspiracy theory to see this because Heraclitus already said it. He says, "nature loves to hide".
It is no coincidence that reality itself tends toward concealment. It doesn't sit on the surface waiting for you to pick it up. You have to pull it out. And that's not because nature is evil. It is simply [music] how knowledge works at its root. We are within polarity within multiplicity. We have to understand where we stand at all times. And this is a whole science. And this is what philosophy is for.
So we return to the motion and the stillness. If truth is [music] ali, wondering, the movement of the soul toward being, then you don't acquire it once and close the matter, because it isn't a state, it is something you practice continuously and every time you stop asking, every time you stay still, every time you settle for what resembles the genuine without ever examining it, you slip back into lethe and you lose again what you had uncovered covered. That's why together with "know thyself" and "nothing in excess", the delphic oracle had a third maxim carved into stone. The angia paradata "give a pledge and ruin is near".
Ati is catastrophe, the blinding of the mind. I have seen often this maxim analyzed as a financial guarantee or something, putting your name on the line for someone else's debt. But think about where this maxim was carved, not at the marketplace. It was at the temple of Apollo, rightbeside "know thyself", which has nothing to do with with banking. It has everything [music] to do with knowing your own self.
So its deeper truth is that every time you give a guarantee, every time you offer certainty where you haven't actually checked, every time you say I have already understood this, no need to ask again, no need tofilter what what I see in front of me. You have already stopped the motion and ati, the blindness, isn't far behind.
So complacency isn't some innocent rest. It is the moment the mind stopsmoving and starts going blind. Life, truth, and freedom aren't thingsyou win once. They demand vigilance. Continuous everyday vigilance without pause. The muses don't warn you because they are malicious. They give you right on the first page of Hesiod's poem the tool for living, to know that speech can take either form and to choose every time to move toward the one that is genuine.
So the next time you watch a film, a video, or hear a story about the ancient gods, whether it is Nolan or anythingelse, the question isn't whether it is realistic or faithful to the [music] original. The question is whether it holds you still on the surface or pushes you to look further toward the smooth, the divine, and the genuine. That's what the muses were saying and that's [music] what Plato was saying too. And maybe that's the only criterion that actually matters. Discernment.
The "Bath of Athena" (also known as the Bath of Pallas or Loutra Pallados) is a famous classical Greek myth and a 3rd-century BCE hymn by the Hellenistic poet Callimachus. It describes an annual ritual in Argos where the cult statue of Athena was taken to the sea to be washed, and it warns mortals against accidentally seeing a deity unclothed. The Myth and the Poem
- The Ritual: The poem opens with a call to the women of Argos who carry the sacred water and prepare the goddess's bath, comb, and oils.
- The Warning: A cautionary tale is told within the poem warning men not to look upon the naked goddess, stating,
“Whoso shall behold Pallas, Keeper of Cities, naked, shall look on Argos for this the last time.” as written by Callimachus.
The "Lie" that held Heisenberg in place, a wallflower at the Atomic Bomb development dance:
- The Blinding of Tiresias: The myth recounts how the young seer Tiresias accidentally stumbled upon Athena bathing in a spring. Though he lost his physical sight as punishment, Athena—comforted by his mother, her close companion—granted him inner spiritual sight and prophetic vision.
"Logos is speech in movement" is a beautiful way to describe how static logic transforms into active persuasion during a live delivery. While the ancient Greek word logos literally translates to "word," "speech," or "reason", viewing it as "movement" highlights that an effective argument must actively guide an audience from one premise to the next. [1, 2, 3]Here is how logos operates as a dynamic, moving force in communication:The Kinetic Nature of an Argument
- Linear progression: An argument cannot sit still; it must travel logically from a starting claim to a final conclusion.
- Signpost transitions: Visual and verbal cues like "consequently," "next," and "as a result" physically advance the listener's mind through the narrative.
Historical Foundations of Logos“The term logos originates from Greek, where it could signify word, speech, discourse, or reason.” as explained by Academy 4 Social Change.Aristotle framed it as an active mode of persuasion—an appeal to the human mind's rational processing. Later philosophers like Philo even broke the concept down to distinguish between "the spoken word" (logos prophorikos) and the internal thought process (logos endiathetos), showcasing the inherent movement from internal logic to external speech. [1, 2, 3, 4]How to Give Movement to Your Logic
- Structure chronologically: Arrange your data in a step-by-step layout so the audience easily follows the momentum.
- Weave the narrative: Do not simply dump facts; link data directly to your claims to drive the narrative forward.

Google AI on the Nature of the Divine Feminine/ Masculine
In ancient Greek mythology, the divine feminine operates through deep immanence, emotional fusion, and relational cycles (attachment), whereas the divine masculine expresses itself through transcendence, structural control, and compartmentalization (detachment). Because these myths emerged from a deeply patriarchal society, the male gods hold external, institutional power, allowing them the luxury of emotional distance. In contrast, the female deities manage the visceral, messy realities of life, death, and connection, tying their power directly to their relationships.
Psychologist Jean Shinoda Bolen famously analyzed these dynamics using goddess archetypes. The differences between their attachment and detachment styles shape how they interact with the world.
The Divine Feminine: The Power of Attachment and Relational Webs
For the ancient Greek divine feminine, power is rarely solitary; it is woven into cycles of life, vulnerability, and mutual dependence.
- Vulnerability Through Fusion: The "vulnerable goddesses"—Hera, Demeter, and Persephone—rely entirely on relationships for fulfillment. When those relationships break, they experience profound grief or rage.
- Cyclical Chaos: When Hades abducts Persephone, Demeter does not remain emotionally detached. She plunges the world into winter, demonstrating an attachment so fierce it alters the global ecosystem to force a compromise with Zeus. “When Persephone is abducted by Hades, the king of the Underworld, Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, refuses to let the crops grow until Persephone is returned.” as noted by The Conversation.
- Magnetism Over Force: Aphrodite rules through raw desire and magnetic attraction. She cannot remain detached from her impulses, nor do mortals remain detached from her influence. Her power requires an emotional and physical connection to function
The Divine Masculine: The Autonomy of Detachment and Structure
The ancient Greek divine masculine uses detachment to build external order, enforce laws, and maintain a safe emotional distance from the chaos of life.
- Objective Distance: Zeus, Apollo, and Poseidon rule distinct territories (the sky, the sun/reason, and the sea). They treat mortals and relationships as chess pieces. Zeus frequently engages in affairs, yet remains entirely detached from the emotional fallout suffered by his partners or his wife, Hera.
- Linear Execution: Masculine energy focuses heavily on logic, strategy, and swift action over emotional processing. It sets rigid boundaries. If a relationship or a mortal no longer serves a purpose, the masculine god detaches and moves on without holding onto long-term grief.
- Midwifing Ideas: The masculine even attempts to detach the concept of creation from the messy, physical reality of the womb. Zeus births Athena directly from his forehead and Dionysus from his thigh, bypassing the physical, emotional attachment of maternal gestation.
The Archetypal Exceptions
The Greeks understood that these energies exist on a spectrum, creating notable cross-gender exceptions in their myths:

))))))
You crack me up, Les. You really DO hate white people.
No, not are all. I hate wilful ignorance. And boatload's of Rightwing Americans and Rightwing Europeans possess and inordinate amount of wilful ignorance and always have.
you must certainly be one of the "good" neoracist ones, with all that performative compassion you have for their "victims".
True compassion involves a deep, selfless awareness of another person's suffering coupled with a authentic desire to alleviate it. Performative compassion, by contrast, is driven by vanity, public perception, and self-interest.
Understanding the differences between the two requires looking at motivation, execution, and outcomes.
Core Differences
Motivation: True compassion focuses entirely on the well-being of the sufferer. Performative compassion focuses on the social status, moral superiority, or reputation of the helper.
Visibility: True compassion operates effectively in secret, needing no audience or external validation. Performative compassion requires a public stage, social media posts, or public recognition to feel worthwhile.
Cost: True compassion often involves personal sacrifice, such as time, money, or emotional labor, without expecting anything in return. Performative compassion seeks a high return on investment, usually in the form of praise, likes, or professional networking advantages.
Longevity: True compassion stays for the long term, even when the work becomes boring or difficult. Performative compassion disappears as soon as the public attention shifts to a new trend or crisis.
How to Spot Performative Compassion
Virtue Signaling: Expressing moral outrage or deep sympathy online solely to align with a popular social group, without taking any real-world action.
Centering the Self: Sharing stories about helping others, but framing the narrative so that the helper is the hero, martyr, or central focus of the tragedy.
Selective Empathy: Showing intense concern only for causes that are currently trending, while ignoring ongoing, less fashionable issues in one's immediate community.
Genuine compassion is a core human virtue that builds trust, heals trauma, and creates real systemic change. While vanity can mimic compassion through performative gestures, the two are fundamentally opposite in intent and impact.
Feeling better now? LMAO!;!
Your compassion is vanity.
It FEEDS the ego, it doesn't escape it.
Exactly what *satanist* would love to. ;-p
And, you're both full of caca. Understandable you being MAGAts and all.
Q isn't in to domestic politics. And I now identify as America First, not MAGA.
//And, you're both full of caca.
Wanna see us as peers? ;-p
Too bad. We are not like you — DEMN idiots.
America first is just a reiteration of the MAGA ideology of: I got mine, so, fuck you and go to hell.
Greedy unbounded self interest is the MAGA/America First scam. On supported by unthinking people.
The planet is deeply intertwined and interconnected in every way. And you isolationist better get on board. Because you're losing bigly. Even if you deny it and keep your pin heads buried in the sands.
Simply stop supporting endless wars. Dismantle the M I C. End Citizens United. Ban ALL super pacs (especially the Zionist lobby of Genocidal Israel. Return to sensible tariff policy. And, increase effective tax rates on the wealthiest among us as well as eliminating loopholes that only the wealthy use avoid paying taxes.
Reduce the war making budget to 200 billion, and freeze it for 5 years. Also, put war making decisions back into the hands of the House of Representatives and strip the president of any war making power until Congress Declares an Act of War.
And, dump trump NOW!
Yeah, saying DEMN-commie satanist: "Go make yourself powerless, Stooopid Americans. So that commies of China would take over North America swiftly and easily. And have their revenge for the century of humiliation"
//Simply stop supporting endless wars. Dismantle the M I C.
And that will stop imperialists of China and Russia???
Yeah. Of course. Because that's exactly what stopped imperialists if Germany and Japan in WW2
PS Do another proof needed -- that Lessy are satanist, that want World be burned into ww3n???
To Les the war in Ukraine is perfectly fine. Because Ukraine was a victim of Putin. The war in Iran isn't, because Iran is a victim of Drumph!
The WoT never ended. Congress never ended it. He blames Drumph for the UniParty.
His objections to war are like his objections to racism. They aren't universal. They're particular.
His bias to "truth" is just a bias towards the lie that favours "particulars".
Yeah...
