“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

May I Direct Your Attention to...
Money Follows Attention. Those Who Direct that Attention Always Take a Cut.
Eris (Ancient Greek: Ἔρις, romanized: Eris, lit. 'Strife') is the goddess and personification of strife and discord, particularly in war, and in the Iliad (where she is the "sister" of Ares the god of war).
Time to return to a thymotic economy... Timocracy.
timocracy is a form of government closely linked to the concept of honor (timē in Ancient Greek). It operates in two main ways depending on the philosopher: • Plato's View (Rule by Honor and Spirit): In The Republic, Plato described a timocracy as a state where the rulers are driven primarily by a love of honor, fame, military glory, and prestige rather than pure wisdom or philosophy. Leaders are spirited, brave, and ambitious, often valuing martial virtue and war over intellectual pursuits. He famously pointed to ancient Sparta as a classic example of a timocratic society.
"Now, whether it be Bestial oblivion, or some craven scruple Of thinking too precisely on th' event— A thought which, quarter'd, hath but one part wisdom And ever three parts coward—I do not know Why yet I live to say “This thing's to do,” Sith I have cause, and will, and strength, and means To do 't."

Like shamans among caveman tribe?
Like a titty babe over disturbed youth?

Stone dollar? Yawn.

To make the g-string hit the floor (gravity)? Those are some smart cavemen. Spartans did have "iron" money....
Protego ergo Obligo!
At least oligarchs have traded direct force for a money proxy to "strife" over.
...creating "order" from the chaos

But Mass Man is too resentful for that. In many ways, Mass Man is the emotional knuckle-dragging Neaderthal.
Yeah... cavemen lived in caves... because they loved loft design.

But honor is oppsite to Inteligence(wisdom?)
By your own definition.
And modern world needs a lot of intelligence to be governed owver.

Plato tied them (honour of wisdom) together. I suspect it's what makes for "intellectual integrity".
Intelligence is knowing multiple means of achieving a goal...
wisdom is always choosing the right/ apprpriate to situation... one
Even if cowardly and dishonored? %^P
One of "those who know better"?
One of very first ones. ;-p

Is that the goal sought?
He bore Socrates' eidos much as Lyssia bore Candaules...
;p
Why asking me?
That is your digma -- that honorvand wisdom are opposite.
So, it is your fight.
Act non verba. ;-p
