As a kid and young man I was a avid (and very successful) dinghy racer, a love of all sailing boats, yachts and ships developed from it.

But I have little love for these 'cat' type 'boats'. Sure, they're marvels of tech and extremely fast but you can only 'sail' them on waters that are as flat as a witch's tit. Ugh...

The Coble sailing boats (in Brid) is what I'll be joining when we finally tame corona. They're the exact OPPOSITE of these dragster monsters...

OT:

Hurray! The beergle has landed! Many, many thanks!

When I was attending the Academy, we had a "replica" of the original that I'll never forget... but it was too cool for our school, so was sold... annual maintenance costs were $160k+.

I loved looking out of the windows of Fulton Hall and seeing her docked...I just wish I could have sailed on her. I've been a fan ever since.

ps - Let me know your fave passengers of the beergle. It can't always be Chimay... ;)

No, every bottle is a different beer. It's like wine tasting but w/o the spitting...

I much prefer these!

I agree. The current AC75's are too complex to ever become widely used.
