Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

And by a prudent flight and cunning save A life which valour could not, from the grave. A better buckler I can soon regain, But who can get another life again?

I watched LU and was thoroughly disappointed. Among other defects, the film really doesn't do irony/sarcasm very well.
Also, for the most part beware of films with Di Caprio in the leading role... The man can destroy a movie quicker than Neil Young could murder the SSB!

I agree...
I made a vow many a years ago to never watch "Titanic". I remain true to that vow...
btw - Zizek's right about why diCaprio HAD to die in the end. Rich girl slumming fantasies must never get skewered, lest the large glass crack.
Spoiler alert: the boat sinks in Titanic
I made a vow many a years ago to never watch "Titanic". Pffft: that must be the easiest vow to keep! The vomit-inducing Oirishe Twang muzix alone!
Spoiler alert 2: the band played on...
The hype back in '97 for the movie was over-the-top. I still can't stand Celine Deion..
