“They saw their injured country's woe;
The flaming town, the wasted field;
Then rushed to meet the insulting foe;
They took the spear, - but left the shield.”

Hyper-Normalised 2020 Landscapes - Giorgio de Chirico Reborn
I found these rather bizarre comments of yours on AOW:
Can't have all those pesky small business entrepeneurs eating up large corporate profits to feed the bank accounts of old world banker families like the Rothschilds...
In the 20th century (and even before) the fortunes of the family greatly declined and the family also seriously fractured.
Today the Rothschilds are a negligible part of international finance.
Progressivism is ALL about increasing the economy's "Aggregate Efficiency" and if that means putting 90% of the population OUT of work, so be it!
I hope you're not trying to make the point that automation is limited to 'progressive' companies (like Big Tech).
Long before neoliberalism automation has been used by ALL sectors to increase profits. Robots will never set us free!
No, I wasn't trying to make that point. Automation, IMO, is a symptom of surplus capital. The point I was trying to make was that progressivism is all about efficiency, not human progress. A dictatorship is MUCH more efficient than a democracy.

Hmmm... China is very efficient but the USSR was not. Nazism and Togoism self-destructed.
The various oligarchies/dictatorships in LA and Egypt lead to massive inequality and widespread poverty.
Capitalism with Asian/ Chinese values...
