Jordan Peterson on Brexit

Peterson is so plainspoken –– so clear, –– so direct, –– so unequivocal. It's no wonder the Marxists hate him so.

With Zizek you'd get a full hour –– or more –– of pretentious, cryptic, polysyllabic gobbledygook that makes you think to yourself, "IF he's saying anything of value, I must be awfully stupid, because I CAN'T HEAR IT."

Peterson may lack Zizek' beguiling pixish manner –– Peterson, Alas! though not a bad looking fellow, has no charisma –– BUT you can SEE what you're getting, and unless you've been conditioned like one of Pavlov's dogs and thus blinded by Marxian indoctrination, Peterson's logic is IRREFUTABLE.

Prolixity in no way is tantamount to wisdom.

I liked Peterson's interpretatin of the story of the Tower of Babel.

I'd never thought of it in poliical terms like that before, but YES! When our hubristic tendencies make us too big fr our breeches, Truth (Go) soon finds a ay to cut us back down size, and get us back in touch with our inescapable identity as mortal human beings.

Perhaps the Titanic might be considered in a simular light to Peterson's understanding of the Babel Tower story.

The Manhattan Project and the Challenger Explosion too, perhaps?

Yes we are a great species, and a small number of us HAVE accomplished great things, but we are NOT –– and never will be –– GODS.

That is Marxism's fatal flaw. Its attempt to omit God from the conduct of human affairs.

The moral of the story might be condensed thusly.

HUBRIS = BAD
HUMILITY = GOOD

PRESIDENT GEORGE H. W. BUSH is DEAD at AGE 94

Apparently, he was the last Republcan president to win in a landslide.

I believe he needed to thank Ronald Reagan for that.

I hate to say it, but I grew to despise George H. W. Bush for the careless, almost callous way he threw away the splendid legacy handed to him by Ronald Reagan.

I could never say I'm glad he's dead. I only wish I could have felt gladder that he ever was alive.

I do wish he'd been able to wait till after Christmas for this to happen. After losing both Barbara, whom I loved, and George H. W. in the same year Christmas is bound to be dismal for the Bush clan, AND it puts a pall on the great holiday for the entire nation.

Bush did dedicate his life to serving the nation, and he fought valiantly as a fighter pilot in World War Two. For that we should give him credit and pay him homage, even if he turned out to be a globalist who did a poor job as our president.
